Who Is YogiSo?
I have been practicing different styles of yoga (Hatha, Ashtanga and more recently Vinyasa Flow) for over fifteen years now, have tried Sivananda, Kundalini, Nidra, Power, Bikram, and have been teaching it for over ten years.
I have been a personal trainer since 1998, and although I don't practice yoga as much as I would like to (everyday), I just couldn't imagine my life without Yoga anymore.
To me Yoga is the glue that has put myself back together after all the losses and breaks I have experienced over the years, physically as well as emotionally.
I have practiced fitness in many forms, have been swimming, surfing, running, dancing, skateboarding, riding horses, but nothing has altered my body and mind as deeply as yoga has.
I don't believe in level classes, I have people who come to me thinking they are too stiff, too old, too fat, too thin, too broken, too soft, too lazy (insert your own internal dialogue here), and I see all these perceptions get blown away as soon as the breath falls in sync with the movement.
Breathing in and breathing out, one posture after the other, any body can find comfort and growth in this amazing practice...
